What this page holds, and what it does not

It holds the published records of this family with the names the register designates, the plates cleared for display, and the characters of the family as the printed source states them. No scientific distribution is published for any record yet; the names recorded for the Red Sea and the Gulf are names, not occurrence records. No conservation assessment is published in the register yet, so no conservation badge is shown for any record.

Taxa in this family

One card per record: its plate when the register permits one, its name with its standing, and its codes. A card without an image has no plate the register lets us display.

Aetobatus narinari Spotted eagle ray HWT-FISH-0019

Mobula eregoodootenk Longhorned mobula HWT-FISH-0020

Rhinoptera javanica Javanese cownose ray HWT-FISH-0021

The length is that of one measured specimen, not the maximum length of the species. A missing length means the encyclopedia holds no documented value.
