Asmak Al Mamlakah (Fishes of the Kingdom) is a national digital platform documenting fish species of the territorial waters of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, providing a trusted scientific reference for researchers, government agencies, fishers and the public.
Primary source
The encyclopedia is founded on Fishes from Territorial Saudi Red Sea Waters, published by the Fisheries Research Center – Jeddah (Deputy Ministry for Fisheries Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture), first edition 1432H / 2011, which documented more than 420 species belonging to 91 families.
